The Cranbrook Foundation was created in 1974 to ensure the advancement of Cranbrook. It is a company limited by guarantee, and administered by its Board of Directors. The Cranbrook Foundation’s day-to-day activities are supported by the Director of Development, a member of the Cranbrook School staff and Executive Team.
We rely on the generosity of our community to go beyond and to ensure a reciprocal benefit that sees our School, its quality of education and its legacy remain robust and secure.
Since its inception, the Cranbrook Foundation has been directly involved in the development of new and bold directions to improve Cranbrook School. We are committed to optimising all aspects of our School to ensure that each of our students can discover their potential.

We offer a selection of scholarships which provide a pathway for gifted and talented individuals to benefit from our world-class academic programmes, outstanding teaching staff, and extensive co-curricular and sporting opportunities. Each scholarship at Cranbrook recognises the skills, character, and pursuit of excellence we champion at our School.
The awarding of a Scholarship is dependent upon academic results from the Cranbrook School Scholarship Examination (conducted by Academic Assessment Services), submission of supporting materials, and an interview. Please note scholarships are only awarded to Australian citizens.

"Legacy is not always what is left tomorrow when we are gone. It is what we give, create, impact and contribute today while we are here, that can live on."
Gifts to Cranbrook have touched past, present and future Cranbrookians and their families, leaving a lasting impression and a gift of benefaction. A bequest is a gift specified in your Will to the Cranbrook Foundation that will contribute to the future of the School whilst still enjoying your assets during your lifetime.

Martin Pitt was someone who was positive, cheerful and full of energy; he was irrepressible.
Where he saw a need, he acted and carried people with him. Martin embodied, lived and breathed the spirit of the Cranbrook community before sadly passing away in 2010.
Martin was at Cranbrook for almost 60 years as a student, teacher, Head of House, Sports Coach and Deputy Headmaster. He was the heart and soul of the School and to commemorate Martin's commitment and contribution to the life of Cranbrook, his family and the School established The Martin Pitt Scholarship.
